This blog was established to share my experiences in studying and making historical clothing. I will use this as a platform to record tailoring projects and collate my research into particular aspects of costume history.

My personal speciality is in British Infantry of the Late-18th and Early-19th century; as a Napoleonic-period reenactor, portraying a soldier of the 5/60th (Rifles), and regimental tailor in the employment of Wellington’s Army.

I am currently studying Costume at Cleveland College of Art and Design and working as a freelance historical tailor in affiliation with The Regimental Tailor.
